Post Prog Sludgers VAREGO release their new official videoclip as a tribute to Italian ’70-’80 Giallo/Horror movies. “Phantasma” is a short film combining the scary and high tension atmospheres typical of the old good Italian tradition, made of distinctive shadows plays, colors and ghostly landscapes.
VAREGO says: “We’re thrilled to have teamed-up with our close friend Ivan, to realize our own tribute to this movies scene. Though our music is mostly known for its space and sci-fi themes, certainly Italian tradition of Giallo films (not speaking also of their soundtracks) is well established within our influences thanks to masters as Fulci, Bava and Argento”.
The song “Phantasma” is taken from VAREGO new album EPOCH released by ARGONAUTA Records.
The new video is available below, written and directed by Ivan G. Ferrera and featuring Asia Marcenaro and Manuela Leone as actresses.
