Scott Ian Lewis commenta, “Il video di WWX è speciale per molte ragioni. Negli ultimi 14 anni della band sono stato molto coinvolto nei video musicali. Ora dirigere la title track del nostro album più importante è qualcosa di cui vado molto fiero. I CARNIFEX non sono mai stati tanto feroci e non vedo l’ora che tutti vedano cosa abbiamo creato.”

“World War X” è stato prodotto dai CARNIFEX e Jason Suecof (DEATH ANGEL, CHELSEA GRIN, JOB FOR A COWBOY). L’album è stato registrato e mixato da Jason ai Audiohammer Studio di Sanford, Florida. Le voci per l’album sono state registrate da Mick Kenney (ANAAL NATHRAKH, BLEEDING THROUGH) at The Barracks Studio a Huntington Beach, CA. L’artwork dell’album è stato creato da Blake Armstrong.
