La band death metal melodica Kataklysm di Montréal, pubblicherà il nuovo album, “Meditations” il 1° Giugno 2018 su Nuclear Blast Records.

Le dieci canzoni sono state prodotte dal chitarrista J-F Dagenais e dal batterista Oli Beaudoin, mentre del mixaggio si è occupato Jay Ruston (ANTHRAX, STONE SOUR, ecc.). La masterizzazione è stata curata da Paul Logus (PANTERA e altri).
L’artwork è stato creato da Ocvlta Designs di Surtsey, che si era già occupato della copertina del cd precedente. dei KATAKLYSM, “Of Ghosts And Gods”.
Un regalo per i fan è il bonus DVD del nuovo album. Il live DVD è stato filmato a Monaco, Germania durante il tour “A Moment in Time” il 21 Ottobre 2017. Include le performance di due classici album della band, “Shadows & Dust” e “Serenity in Fire” suonati per intero. Il concerto è stato ripreso da diverse telecamere e registrato di fronte a una sala gremita di fan arrivati da tutto il mondo. Mixato dal chitarrista JF Dagenais, il DVD comprende anche interviste con i membri della band che raccontano del tour speciale e del nuovo album “Meditations”.
