Il cantante Keith Buckley a proposito del brano dichiara: “‘Something Good’ è una canzone allegra sullo stare male. Parla di ferire le persone a cui tieni perché non è nella tua natura fare la cosa giusta anche quando vorresti. Una storia morale oscura con un’atmosfera davvero solare“.

“High Crimes” è stato prodotto da Jay Ruston (ANTHRAX, STONE SOUR, AMON AMARTH) ed è il successore del debutto del 2010 “Iconiclast”.
Nove anni fa, Scott Ian – chitarrista e co-fondatore della leggendaria band thrash metal ANTHRAX – si incontrò con Joe Trohman (chitarrista e co-fondatore dei FALL OUT BOY), iniziando a comporre musica assieme. Con l’aiuto del batterista Andy Hurley (FALL OUT BOY) e l’irriverente voce di Keith Buckley (EVERY TIME I DIE), i THE DAMNED THINGS presero forma. Dopo vari cambiamenti, oggi al basso c’è Dan Andriano degli ALKALINE TRIO.
